Born in Syria, he lead the last Ba’athist state. Although his rule was seen by some as a distortion of Ba’athism, he is lauded by left-wingers around the world for his excellent leadership and anti-imperialist views.

A New Jersey native, Proda studied Marxism for many years while participating in local protests and organizing. Most importantly, they keep the smooth running of the caucus and plan most of their agenda.
